The Foxes: Try Archery Sessions
‘The Foxes offer the opportunity for groups of 6 – 16 friends, family or colleagues to try archery for a few hours and to have fun along the way. The sessions take place at our outdoor shooting ground (Farnham Bridge Farm, Rothley) and are normally organised as below (although shorter evening sessions can also be accommodated):

|10.00 – 10.30||Distribution of kit, safe shooting, introduction to your tutors|
|10.30 – 11.15||Learn how to shoot, then fun and games|
|11.15 – 11.30||Refreshment break (tea and coffee provided)|
|11.30 – 12.30||Shooting practice|
|12.30 – 13.30||Lunch (sausage/burger baps etc. provided, vegetarian ones available on request)
A chance to ask questions about archery and to look at some bows that our club members use
|13.30 – 15.00||Even more fun and games|
The bows used are one-piece flat bows and you will learn to shoot without the use of a sight.
The cost for the session is £30 per head, including the use of all equipment, mid-morning refreshments and lunch.
What to wear
For safety reasons archer should wear flat shoes (not open toed footwear) and make sure that sleeves of tops are close-fitting. Long hair should be tied back and no necklaces/pendants or scarves should be worn outside of clothing.
Archery is an outdoor sport and so at the mercy of the weather, therefore dress appropriately.
Participants who are under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or other responsible adult nominated by the parent/guardian.
To help us ensure your group gets the best out of the session, the information we require for each member is name, gender, age (if under 18), whether right or left handed, height, any special dietary requirements and any other information you feel is relevant for us to know.
Please note: we require a minimum of 3 weeks notice, which gives us time to organise the day.
