The Foxes Archery Club is based at Farnham Bridge Farm, Rothley, Leicester. It is a target archery club.

During the outdoor season (April to end September) the club normally meets on Saturday mornings and Tuesday evenings but we have all year round access to the field at Farnham Bridge farm so can shoot at other times as well.

Indoor shooting takes place at Winstanley College (just off Hinckley Road) on Saturday mornings (9.30 -11.30 am) between the end of September and the end of March.

We have archers at all levels of expertise including some who regularly represent the County in inter-county matches.

Many of our archers shoot in tournaments while others just shoot for the fun of it. The club runs tournaments, fun shoots, Have-A-Go’s, group or corporate “try archery” sessions, enters postal leagues and runs beginners’ courses throughout the year. The minimum age for members is 8.

We welcome novice as well as experienced archers. Our members are very friendly and new archers integrate easily into a good club atmosphere.

Existing Archers

Any person wishing to join the club must prove that they are able to shoot safely & have completed a beginners’ course. Therefore one of the clubs coaches will assess your shooting to ensure that you meet the required standard. If you are already affiliated to Archery GB you must produce your affiliation card to prove this.

Our fees are:

Annual membership fee (due at the end of April each year) is as follows:

Adult: £110.00
Junior: £55.50
Concession: £87.00
Associate member: £29.00
Social member: £5.80

Juniors joining must have a parent or guardian joining either as a full shooting member or a non shooting associate member.

There are no target fees, and membership also covers the cost of indoor shooting during the winter.

Archery GB fees are due at the end of September of each year (£57.00 for Seniors and £15.75 for under 25, Juniors and registered disabled for 2022/2023; Associate/Social members nil).
